1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the mobile game Sors Vitae: Life Lottery ("the app") and its in-app product, provided by 건강한고양이 ("the developer"), and the rights and duties of the developer and users.

2. Effect and changes

1. These terms apply to everyone who installs and uses the app. By using the app you agree to them.
2. The developer may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. Changed terms are posted on this page with their effective date; changes that are unfavourable to users are announced in the app's news or on this page at least 7 days in advance (30 days for important changes).
3. Matters not covered here follow applicable law and the Google Play Terms of Service.

3. The service

1. The app is a life-simulation game based on real-world statistics. It works offline, has no sign-up or login, and stores game records on your device.
2. The app is free. After you have been born in 10 different countries, ads may be shown when a new life starts.
3. Odds, grades and statistics in the app are for the game. Where no statistic exists the app says it is a game estimate. The app does not predict any real person's future or judge the worth of any country or group.

4. Paid product

1. The only paid product is "Remove ads" (one-time purchase). After buying it the app shows no ads. Odds and rewards in the game are the same whether or not you buy it.
2. The price is the amount shown in the app and on Google Play (including applicable taxes) and may differ by country.
3. Payment is made through Google Play Billing. Payment methods, billing and receipts follow Google Play's policies.
4. The purchase belongs to the Google account that paid for it and can be re-applied on other devices signed in to the same account with "Restore purchase".
5. The app sells no paid random (loot-box) items.

5. Cancellation and refunds

1. "Remove ads" is digital content that starts working as soon as payment is made. For users in Korea, the right to withdraw may be limited once supply has begun (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Article 17(2)5); the app shows this before payment. Users elsewhere keep any rights they have under the consumer law of their country.
2. If you cannot use the product because of the developer's fault, such as a payment error, double charge or the product not being applied, we refund it in full. Contact us below and we will handle it within 7 days.
3. Refund requests through Google Play are handled under the Google Play refund policy.
4. If a refund is made, "Remove ads" may be cancelled.

6. Users' duties

1. Use the app for personal entertainment. Do not tamper with the app's code or save files to deceive others or disrupt the service.
2. You manage your own backup codes and files. Importing a backup code from an unknown source may corrupt your records.

7. Intellectual property

1. Copyright in the app's text, images, code and design belongs to the developer. Statistical data and fonts used by the app follow their providers' licences; sources are listed in the app's "Sources · Licenses" screen.
2. You may freely share and post the result-card and collection images the app makes for you.

8. Limitation of liability

1. The developer cannot restore game records lost from your device through device failure, uninstalling, OS changes or user mistakes. The app offers "Backup · New phone" and Google backup for this reason.
2. The developer is not liable for damage caused by events outside its control, such as natural disasters, network failures, or outages of external services like Google Play or AdMob.
3. The developer is liable under applicable law for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Changes and discontinuation

1. The developer may change game content (odds, achievements, dreams, etc.) through updates and announces changes in the app's news.
2. If the developer stops providing the app, it will give at least 30 days' notice on this page and in the app. "Remove ads" is a one-time purchase and keeps working in an already installed app after discontinuation.

10. Disputes and governing law

1. Complaints and questions are received at the contact below and answered within 7 days.
2. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
